Cambridge Audio - Great British Sound

Since 1968 Cambridge Audio has been driven by a simple belief; that music should always sound amazing.

Cambridge Audio is for people who really listen to music. Their original British-designed products are enjoyed the world over by people like you who share a love of music.

Cambridge Audio have an envied reputation for innovation and every one of their engineers is fanatical in their pursuit of delivering an authentic and enjoyable experience. When you listen to a Cambridge Audio product you don’t just hear the difference, you feel it. Cambridge Audio want everyone to experience that pleasure.

GETTING THE FOUNDATIONS RIGHT

Cambridge Audio build their products from the bottom up, without compromise. Key components such as transformers and CD transports have to be absolutely spot on, which is why off-the-shelf parts often aren’t good enough, and they design their own bespoke versions. Once these key pieces of architecture are in place, they carefully match them to a huge array of carefully selected ancillary components hand-selected by the engineers. Being finicky and fastidious is the only way to achieve the level of sound quality Cambridge Audio strive for.

SOUND COMES FIRST

Everything Cambridge Audio do is driven by a single, guiding premise — creating the best sound experience possible. Each Cambridge Audio product is painstakingly designed, developed and prototyped in London. Every capacitor, transistor and piece of cable that goes into their products plays its own vital part. Cambridge Audio aim to show fellow music lovers that their favourite tracks can be taken to another dimension by Cambridge Audio products.

Cambridge Audio love music and they are proud of what they do. Their passion for listening to great music and the fun they have in the process of creating the products they make shines through, for all to see and hear.

We’re all music lovers, plain and simple and we all want to share that love. Because great things happen when people who love music, design hi-fi!
